WOODCRAFT Series

The WOODCRAFT Series by Yamaki came in four models: Y-40 D, Y-50 D, Y-60 D, and Y-70 D, with the last two models also available as a 12-string. Features were a “all solid wood” construction, intricate wood inlay fret markers, and volute on the back of the headstock. The Y-40D used mahogany, the Y-50D rosewood, Y-60D mahogany, and the Y-70D rosewood. The Y-60D and Y-70D had upgraded tuners with “torque adjustment” and mahogany necks whereas the lower two models had a nato neck. The all wood pickgaurds were sprayed over with lacquer much like the MUGEN Series. Medium gauge strings are listed for the 6-strings and light gauge for the 12-string models.
