The ‘82 in the Year Series is a jumbo sized acoustic that was available in six and twelve strings. The color is listed in period literature as a hand stained wine red. Some of the notable features are the split circle brass fret inlays, brass bridge and nut, and the diamond shaped volute found on the back of the headstock.

Being a jumbo acoustic, Daion sold a hard case specifically for this model called an “AR ‘82 BR” which retailed for $135 USD in 1982.
